Winning organizations aren’t built on talent alone. They’re built on a culture of accountability, alignment, trust, and continuous improvement. As President of Baseball Operations for the Washington Nationals, Paul Toboni is leading a transformation designed to create exactly that. Drawing on lessons from the Nationals, the World Series-winning Boston Red Sox, and his early career with the Oakland Athletics, Toboni reveals how leaders can establish clear expectations, develop people, create buy-in, and build teams that get better together. The Leadership Playbook: Building Teams That Perform, Adapt & Improve
What separates organizations that sustain success from those that simply assemble great talent? For Paul Toboni, it starts with leadership. He shares lessons from leading in an environment where performance is constantly measured and expectations are relentless, offering a fresh perspective on how leaders can unlock talent, navigate change, and create the conditions for people and teams to perform at their best.

The Human Side of Data: Making Better Decisions in a Numbers-Driven World
Baseball helped revolutionize the way organizations use data to find an edge. But numbers alone don’t build winning teams. Having worked at the forefront of baseball’s analytics evolution, Paul Toboni explores what happens when data-driven insight meets experience, intuition, and human judgment. He shares how leaders can use analytics to challenge assumptions, evaluate talent, and make smarter decisions without losing sight of the people behind the numbers. For organizations navigating an increasingly data-rich world, Toboni offers a timely perspective on knowing when to trust the data, when to trust your instincts, and how great leaders bring both together.
