Kathryn Plummer Boden is an Olympic silver medalist and professional volleyball player whose career has taken her from Stanford championships to the highest levels of international volleyball. A standout outside hitter for the U.S. Women’s National Team, Kathryn helped Team USA earn silver at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and has represented the United States on the global stage since 2019.
After a historic collegiate career at Stanford, where she was a three-time NCAA champion, two-time AVCA National Player of the Year, and James E. Sullivan Award recipient, Kathryn built a decorated professional career overseas, competing in Italy, Japan, and Turkey. Her international club résumé includes three Italian Serie A1 titles, a CEV Champions League title, and a Club World Championship.
Kathryn brings that global experience back to the United States as a part of League One Volleyball (LOVB) Los Angeles, helping usher in a new era for the women’s professional game. Off the court, the Southern California native, Stanford human biology graduate, wife, and lifelong learner speaks with honesty about confidence, identity, resilience, teamwork, and performing with purpose.
