Carrlyn Bathe is currently the Rinkside Reporter and Host for the Los Angeles Kings. Previously, she was a host for Portal One, a global digital platform that blended entertainment and gaming, and also worked Los Angeles Angels games as a reporter. Carrlyn’s passion for media goes beyond being an on-air personality. She also has experience shooting features for Bally Sports West’s weekly magazine shows and content for the NHL. Her creativity and tech savviness allows her to create a lot of her own content which she films, edits, and produces herself. From gameday vlogs showcasing her infectious personality, to fun clips of her and the LA Kings crew and players.
She is also video game and trading card enthusiast who enjoys competition on and off the ice. She made history becoming the first female voice in the EA Sports NHL franchise, joining the in-game broadcast team for EA‘s NHL21. She was also part of the NHL’s broadcast of the Gaming World Championships in years past. In addition, she is a Twitch Partner and streams playing games like Call of Duty.
Being an avid hockey fan was in her DNA – her father, Frank, played in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers, inspiring her and her four brothers to play the sport at various levels.
