Throughout his MLB career, Jorge played for the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, Kansas City Royals, Baltimore Orioles, Minnesota Twins, Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals. He made history with the Royals, becoming the first pitcher in the organization’s history to pitch a perfect game into the ninth inning. With the Orioles, Jorge excelled and was named the team’s lone All-Star in the 2022 MLB All-Star Game. In July of 2023, Jorge was traded mid-season to the Miami Marlins where he brought a unique sense of excitement and energy to the game. In December of 2023, he signed with the Mets. Rarely seen without a smile on his face, Jorge reminds fans and viewers the joy that is playing professional sports.
