Paul Toboni is the President of Baseball Operations for the Washington Nationals. He was named to the role in 2025 after serving as Senior Vice President and Assistant General Manager of the Boston Red Sox.
Toboni began his Major League Baseball career as an intern with the Oakland Athletics in 2013. He joined the Red Sox in 2015 and spent 10 years with the organization, rising from intern to assistant general manager.
During his time in Boston, Toboni held a variety of roles in scouting and player development, including positions as an area scout and in the amateur scouting department before being promoted to assistant general manager in 2023.
