Our strategy

Our strategy for environmental sustainability is constituted of three clear focus areas, each of which is underpinned by the continuous education and engagement of all THE·TEAM colleagues, the clients we work with, and the industry at large.

Improve governance and gain reputable accreditation to certify our efforts.

Measure and reduce emissions related to our operations.

Provide continuous education, learning and volunteering opportunities for all THE·TEAM team members.
Assist clients with what a sustainability-led campaign should acknowledge and include.

Become a trusted advisor for new clientele, including a robust ethical framework for procuring new business.

Foster environmental team leaders across each business sub-unit. Every job is a climate job.
Pioneer – be part of and drive the industry conversation.

Collaborate – there is no competition when it comes to the environment. We need to work collaboratively as an industry.

Transparency – highlight our journey by being open with our strengths but also acknowledging where challenges persist.

Sustainability reporting

California Climate Act, SB261: This is THE∙TEAM’s Climate-related Financial Disclosure for 2026 and is intended to satisfy the public disclosure requirements of California’s Climate-Related Financial Risk Act (SB 261).

THE BIGGER PICTURE

We’ve supported the United Nations’ shared plan of action for people, planet and prosperity since 2017. Through our strategic direction and business activities, we contribute directly and indirectly to the achievement of the SDGs. We identified and prioritized ten areas that are most relevant for our business.

Team earth

Team Earth is a cross-departmental group of THE·TEAM professionals united by a shared commitment to environmental responsibility. Together, we challenge current thinking and explore new ways to reduce our impact on the environment through individual and collective solutions.

As ambassadors for the integration of sustainable practices, we will continue to increase environmental awareness across the organization – from understanding climate change and its impact, to highlighting the steps we’re taking to understand and manage our footprint. We believe this education and engagement is an essential part of the employee experience.
