Leading global music agency THE·TEAM today announced the hiring of Julia May as Senior Vice President, Business Development; Sarah Thia as Vice President, Tour Marketing (Asia); and Sheila Mukasa as Senior Manager, Pricing & Ticketing.
The three hires reflect THE·TEAM’s continued investment in building best-in-class infrastructure around its global music business, with expanded capabilities spanning artist services, international tour marketing, and pricing strategy.
Based in New York, May will help lead strategic artist development initiatives across the company’s music roster. She joins from WME, where she helped develop commercial opportunities and cross-platform campaigns for artists such as Dove Cameron, Victoria Monét, Audrey Nuna, Ice Spice and Doechii. Recognized by Billboard as a 2025 Hip-Hop & R&B Power Player, May has built a reputation for connecting artists with high-impact brand and business opportunities while helping shape long-term growth strategies.

Based in Singapore, Thia brings more than 15 years of experience across the APAC region spanning integrated marketing, public relations and strategic partnerships. Most recently, she served as Head of Marketing at HIDDEN, where she led marketing/partnership initiatives, supported the launch of direct-to-consumer products, and expanded distribution channels to drive audience and revenue growth. In her new role, Thia will lead tour marketing strategy across Asia, supporting THE·TEAM’s growing footprint in the region and driving localized campaign development, market expansion and audience engagement across key territories.
Based in London, Mukasa joins from AEG Presents, where she led across live entertainment ticketing from clubs to stadiums. She spent four years as Box Office Manager at The Jazz Cafe, Camden, followed by 10 years at AEG Presents, managing over 1,000 shows for artists including Ed Sheeran, Diana Ross, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen. In her new role, Mukasa will support pricing and ticketing strategy across THE·TEAM’s global music business, helping optimize ticketing performance, market positioning, and revenue strategy across tours and other live events.
“Sheila and Sarah each bring deep expertise in two of the most critical areas of our business as we continue to grow globally,” said Sam Alpert, Global Head of Marketing at THE·TEAM. “Sheila has a deep understanding of how to build analytical and balanced strategies that serve both the artist and the fan, and Sarah brings a strong strategic marketing lens and a nuanced understanding of the APAC landscape. We’re excited to have them join the team as we continue building a more sophisticated global operation for our artists.”
