To guarantee the future success of the Women’s Super League (WSL), it is imperative to seize the current momentum of women’s sports and address the challenges concerning media coverage and sponsorship revenue by strengthening local club markets.
The ‘Unleashing Potential’ report is based on research conducted by Loughborough University London, a member of THE·TEAM’s The Collective Think Tank, focused on empowering women in sport. It drew from interviews with stakeholders in the WSL ecosystem.
