LOS ANGELES (April 15, 2026) – Leading global sports, music and entertainment company THE·TEAM today announced the launch of a leadership advisory and executive search practice, with industry veteran Amy Segal joining THE·TEAM to lead the offering as Managing Director of Leadership Advisory and Executive Search.
Segal’s practice will serve rights holders and brands across sports, music and entertainment to identify, develop and place top talent, while providing ongoing strategic counsel to leadership. The company intends to operate the new group under a business model unique to THE·TEAM – specifically focusing on two differentiators: (1) their demonstrated leadership in advocating for women through their leading women’s advisory business, The Collective, and (2) by integrating the search function directly into the client business. This model intentionally leverages the deep insight and experience of the leaders who serve THE·TEAM’s brand and property clients daily and therefore are best able to understand their talent needs – not just on paper, but in day-to-day practice.

Segal brings more than two decades of experience in building and advising senior teams across media, sports, technology, communications and global enterprises, most recently serving as Global Head of Recruiting for Bloomberg News, Media and Research. In the role, she led global talent acquisition, including executive search – overseeing groups in the United States, EMEA and APAC – and partnering closely with senior leadership to attract and hire executives in highly competitive and complex markets.
Prior to Bloomberg, Segal spent more than seven years at Edelman, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Talent Acquisition, where she led the strategic direction of talent acquisition, executive search, workforce planning and diversity initiatives across all lines of business. Earlier in her career, she held senior talent leadership roles at Ogilvy & Mather, Sony Music Entertainment, Verizon Communications, Turner Broadcasting System, The Coca-Cola Company and CTPartners.
The launch of a leadership advisory and executive search practice marks the latest milestone in THE·TEAM’s continued growth across its services and global footprint.
