Byron’s debut in the 50 overs per side format came in a Metro Bank One Day Cup group game against Glamorgan (August 2025). His best bowling figures to date (3-63) followed later in August 2025 in the defeat to Surrey.

In September 2024, Byron made his Under 19s debut in the comfortable win over Ireland.

Byron achieved his best bowling performance (3-49) the following year in the opening ODI against Bangladesh.
