Essex

County Championship
Charlie’s debut in the four-day game came in the draw with Surrey (April 2025).

By the end of May 2025, and six matches into his first-class career, Charlie posted his first century (140 runs) in the reverse fixture against Surrey.

In the very next match, Charlie scored his second century, this time taking 101 runs off the Hampshire bowlers.

One Day Cricket
In August 2023, Charlie made his first appearance in the one-day game. In seven Metrobank One Day Cup matches he recorded his highest score to date (85 runs) and scored 254 runs (AVG. 36.28).

The following year Charlie played just 3 Metrobank Cup matches and accumulated 134 runs.

Twenty20 Cricket
Charlie made his debut in the twenty overs per side format in THe Blast against Hampshire (June 2024). Completing 7 games, he scored 119 runs (AVG 17.66) including a highest score, to date, of 69 not out.

England Under 19s

Test Matches
Charlie played in both Tests in the 2023 home series against Australia Under 19s.

One Day Internationals
In total, Charlie made ten ODi appearances, including the 2024 World Cup, scoring 343 runs. His highest score (87 runs) coming in the 2024 series against Sri Lanka.
